What time is it?

This was an interesting exercise.  At the end of of 2014, I tried to work on a collage using New York Times Magazine Clippings.  I came across all of these ads for all these white-washed, expensive watches, clothes, purses and jewelry, which seemed irrelevant to me.  There were a handful of children in travel ads and articles that drew my attention.  From that, my character emerged and posed the question, "What time is it?".

I took a hiatus and went to Hawaii and India, in January and February, respectively.  Upon reflection
, I figured out the answer.  I think I had been saturated with the commercialism of the holiday season and my soul was longing for a return to my craft.  It took me a while to get back into the swing of things, but here I am.  My calling is clear --to me anyway. I cut and pasted the key elements from the collage and re-posted them here to remind me of my purpose.
